Savanna is a high school senior at Granite Bay High School and is one of those girls whom I’ve been hearing about for months before her senior portrait session – and everything people had to say about her was remarkable. Everyone commented about what an amazing soccer player she is, how she inspires and mentors other local soccer players, how smart she is (she has a 4.6 GPA!) and of course that she’s incredibly nice and kind. Her name had come up so often that I was obviously super excited to finally meet her, and when I finally did I could see why everyone spoke so highly of her! She’s such a poised and confident girl, and was so lovely to photograph – and she loves to smile, which is evident in most of her pictures! We started her Couture Senior Portrait Session with professional makeup and hairstyling by Jessica of Polish and Pout, and Savanna opted for a fresh and natural look with pretty makeup and loose waves. We started her session in some fields near my studio in Auburn and then headed out to another location in town which had a beautiful dogwood tree blooming, and then finished up her shoot at a flower field in Newcastle. I always love that little flower field at sunset and am happy that it’s been blooming for the past couple of months!
