Allison is graduating senior at Woodcreek High School in Roseville, and is a competitive swimmer who is pretty much always in the pool – so it was a treat to watch her get all dolled up for her senior portrait session! Allison chose the Couture Session, which begins with professional hairstyling and airbrush makeup, and is such a lovely way to start a senior portrait session. Jessica of Polish and Pout did a beautiful job giving Allison a touch of glam with an emphasis on keeping her looking natural as well.
We started Allison’s session around my studio in Auburn, which had the sweetest smelling jasmine blooming everywhere! We took advantage of some of the pretty spring flowers and made her a fresh flower crown, and then headed out to a flower field in Newcastle for a few pictures before finishing up back in Auburn. We chose more blooms and some structures that provided a nice background for the rest of her images.
Allison is headed to DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in the fall, where she’ll continue to swim competitively and work toward a career in medicine. I’m sure she’ll have lots of success and am especially excited about her school choice because I’ll be heading there myself in a couple months to speak at Push Conference for senior photographers! ๐
