Stephanie lives 8 hours away and we had been planning her senior portrait session for months. We were both so excited for it, but wouldn’t you know it, mother nature had other plans! It was the rainiest season on record, and even though we had Plan B and C dates scheduled, it rained and rained for days that week. Stephanie came up with her family on a Thursday, but it was gloomy and drizzly that day and there were storms in the forecast until Sunday. We debated about dealing with the drizzle but decided to wait until the next sunny day in the forecast – which fell on Sunday, three days later. So Stephanie and her family stayed at a hotel for the next few nights, and on Sunday our wait was rewarded with sunshine and blue skies. It was so great to finally meet her and her family, and I was instantly impressed by her amazing sense of style and organization. She brought tons of outfits and heels to match, and we had a blast shooting together for a couple of hours before they had to make the long drive back home. Stephanie opted for the Luxe Session, which is a 2 1/2 hour shoot and includes a professional makeup artist/hairstylist on location to change up hair and makeup looks, and is perfect for girls who love fashion and wanting to get the most variety of images out of their photo shoot! Here are some of he favorites which she chose for her album and digital collection:
