It is hard to add to the superlatives that others have written about their experiences with Nicole Cook. Although I know virtually nothing about photography, it was evident, even to my untrained eye, that her portfolio stood out from all the other photographers I researched. Her subjects look relaxed, unforced, and ridiculously beautiful. What I did not expect was how warm, kind, sweet, and generous she would be while photographing my camera-shy son. What I appreciated most about our Senior Portrait experience is the way she coaxed not just his physical beauty, but his sweet, deep, old soul into the photos. Nicole shared that she doesn’t get the opportunity to photograph very many boys’ pics – which is a shame. She has a way of capturing what is most unique and beautiful in your child, and they have fun in the process. Every parent should get to see their child through her lens. Most importantly, my son loved every picture and was very proud of the final images. We can’t recommend her highly enough – I’d give her 10 stars if I could. Thank you Nicole!

We were fortunate enough to be referred to Nicole Cook to take our daughter’s senior portraits, and let me begin by saying this was the BEST decision ever! We booked a package that included a professional makeup session and it was so worth it! My daughter’s makeup was gorgeous, and set the tone for the rest of the session…all she had to do was choose a few cute outfits, do her hair (which she enjoys doing–Nicole also offers that as a professional service option) and smile. Nicole was so warm, professional, encouraging, and fun. She made my daughter feel completely at ease, and beautiful to boot. We had a fantastic time in Auburn visiting many sites within walking distance alone….I could already see at the session that we were going to have some lovely photos. Today we were able to view the pictures, and choose from many options available both in packages and a la carte. These portraits were absolutely stunning, and Nicole took such care, spending as much time as we needed in selecting what was right for us. She started with a slide presentation in her home studio and I could tell at this point she had spent many hours getting ready for our meeting. “I didn’t really know what to expect for my daughter’s senior photos, but I was amazed on how professional, sweet, encouraging and talented Nicole Cook is!! She really makes your daughter and you feel totally comfortable. Her at home studio is awesome with a viewing area with lots of sample pictures to look at and another room for changing and hair/makeup, it’s decorated really cute too!! We scheduled the photo shoot right after school, plenty of time if your worried about that. Jess from Polish and Pout did her hair and makeup, which turned out gorgeous by the way!! My daughter brought like 4 different outfits to change into. Make sure you bring shoes to match too (I had to go back home to get them). Nicole lives in an area that has alot of beautiful photo spots right in her own backyard if u don’t wanna travel, but if you do want to go to a specific spot or location, Nicole will go, and she also knows where all the good spots are too!! The photo shoot went great, she had senior helpers too that helped out alot. We shot close to her house and downtown also, you’d be surprised that some unlikely spots turn out beautiful in photos! I really enjoyed being there with my daughter, I just stood back and watched, Nicole had it all under control! She kept shooting till it was almost dark. It was a totally awesome, wonderful experience! We came back about a week later for a viewing. She has it all set up as a slide show on her huge tv monitor. She really takes her time and helps u select the perfect pictures along with the package you choose. She also does graduation announcements with the photos you pick out too, love those! The photos she created of my daughter took our breath away, SO BEAUTIFUL! I will be forever grateful and cherish this experience and the magical photos that were taken by Nicole Cook for the rest of my life! Thank you!!”

“Nicole does a GREAT job!! She took pictures of my kids, pets and I for Christmas. Then I hired her for pictures of my kids with their cousins. We do these pictures for our parents, of the grandkids every couple years. The other studies that we would go to; the kids would be trying to get us out of the place: Complaining it’s boring, hot, cooped up in these rooms, stuffy, and crowded in the portrait rooms and in the studios; and we would only get maybe 30 to choose from, and their expressions weren’t as good as the ones, Nicole took.
