I always love when girls choose a Luxe Session for their senior portraits because it not only means that I get to spend more time with them, but that we have a makeup artist/hairstylist on location with us – woot woot! This means that they can have as many makeup and hairstyle changes as they want, so that each outfit has a little different look – and that always gives us a ton of variety! Paxton is a senior at Oakmont High School and wanted her senior portraits done at sunrise to beat the August heat. We started just as the smoke was clearing from some nearby forest fires and if you scroll down you can see that the water in the first few pictures at Folsom Lake has a golden hue from the yellowish, smoke-filled sky. But thankfully most of the smoke cleared for the rest of her session so we were able to capture lots of pretty pictures of her! We stayed in Granite Bay and photographed most of them in Los Lagos and at my home studio, and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter girl to work with! Paxton holds the record for most images chosen from a session – totaling exactly 100! They were all printed in a gorgeous album and here are some of our favorites:
