Madison is a senior at Lincoln High School and opted for a Luxe session which is my favorite because a makeup artist/hairstylist goes out on location with us so you can change your makeup or hairstyle with each look! We photographed Madison’s session around sunrise, which is getting more and more popular for a couple of reasons: 1) A lot of people have activities after school that are difficult to miss and it’s easier to get out of a couple of morning classes instead 2) It’s not as hot in the warmer months and 3) you get to have your hair and makeup done all day vs. washing it off after an evening session!
We started Madison’s portraits in Old Town Auburn where we photographed her in her beautiful prom dress, and then headed to Folsom Lake in Granite Bay where we were greeted by pretty wildflowers that complemented her favorite yellow dress. Next we headed to the water where we were almost blown away by the strong winds, but Madison made it so fun and totally made it work!
