I got to photograph Grace’s older sister Allison last spring (you can check them out here!), so it was extra special capturing Grace’s session the same time this year! Like her sister, Grace is a competitive swimmer, and is in the pool all year – which explains her amazing tan! When we were planning the locations for her session, she wanted it to be different than Allison’s – with the exception of a wildflower field that we had used last year. Grace opted for the Luxe Session, which includes on-location makeup changes, touchups, and hairstyle changes, so she was able to have different looks for each outfit, as well as a makeup artist/hairstylist on hand to make sure everything looked perfect! We found some beautiful locations in Newcastle and finished her session in her senior ball dress at Folsom Lake, just before the sun set. It was such a lovely session, and some of my favorite images are the ones with the sunflowers and her adorable Free People overalls!
After visiting several colleges, Grace fell in love with DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana – and it’s a good thing, because that’s wehre her sister is attending, too!
