Cancer has a way of putting everything into perspective, and Emma’s senior portraits were super emotional for me because the last time I photographed her was when she was 10 years old and just diagnosed with lymphoma. I’ll never forget the somberness of that shoot, and the uncertainty that faced her and her family. It was so sad to photograph this beautiful child who was so full of life, and yet faced with such a difficult road ahead of her. Fast forward to her senior year and the absolute JOY we all felt getting to capture such an important milestone in her life! Praise God she’s totally cancer free now and is enjoying life to its fullest – not to mention she’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! We started her portrait session in Old Town Auburn and finished up at her home in Newcastle. Here are some of Emma’s favorite pictures, which she chose for her beautiful album:
