I first met Camille when she was around 12 or 13 years old at my son’s swim team practice. One of the moms I was sitting with pointed her out to me and commented on what a great look she had, so I walked up to her and asked if she had ever considered modeling, which was met with a resounding “No”. She was a total tomboy and didn’t like makeup or dressing up, so modeling was never on her radar. But we took a quick picture of her and sent it to a modeling agency I sometimes work with, and they responded right away that they’d like to see her – and ended up signing her shortly after! I’ve loved photographing her over the years and we even did a cover for Modern Teen Style together, which is still one of my favorites to this day. And now that she’s a senior, we got to photograph some senior portraits for her as well! Camille as a fun, edgy sense of style and wanted that to reflect in her pictures – she wanted Amy Winehouse-style eye makeup and went for super curly hair to try something different and out of the box for her (apparently permed hair is coming backkkk – who knew?). All Dolled Up Salon in Auburn delivered and we had so much fun shooting this cool look! Here are some faves from our shoot:
