Bailey plays water polo at Del Oro High School and is involved in leadership there as well. After senior year she’s heading to Portland to study nursing, and I was lucky to get to photograph Bailey a few times throughout her senior year {check out her Lake Tahoe senior portrait session HERE!}. We shot together in Old Town Auburn as well as Folsom Lake in Granite Bay. Needless to say we had a ton of pictures and it was so hard to choose favorites because she’s such a natural in front of the camera! And she always brought “photogenic” outfits and accessories to kick her portraits up a notch. What makes clothes photogenic? Anything with texture, details and a variety of colors and patterns tends to work well, and accessories like hats, sunglasses, necklaces, rings and other jewelry always add variety and make an outfit look more put-together.
