What can I say about Aly? She’s definitely one of the most fun girls I’ve had a chance to photograph, and the laughs never stopped during her session! Aly is a competitive cheerleader at Oakmont High School, and just got back from a big competition right before her senior portrait session. Her BFF Karly came along for the shoot (stay tuned for Karly’s session, coming to the blog soon!) and those two are so close they practically finish each other’s sentences. I adore them both so much, and had the best time photographing them both!
We started Aly’s session around my studio in Auburn and then headed to the Bernhard Museum, which had happy memories for Aly from her third grade field trip there. After that, we finished at a wildflower field in Newcastle, where Aly wore a pretty flower crown that we had put together from flowers that were growing in my yard as well as some from the field. We all gasped as soon as we saw the back of the camera images of her in the hazy sunshine with those flowers – she was just so stunning! It was a beautiful ending to a great day, and below are some of Aly’s favorites that she chose for her gorgeous album!
